This man could use his ability to inflict curses upon others. The effects were always negative, and usually dangerous and severe. Examples included cursing a person to die in a certain way, to suffer pain or to have extremely bad luck. He was shown using the ability to kill Nathan Owain Petrelli Snr and Lowri Elan Petrelli. He cursed them with a poison which killed them almost instantly and prevented them from being revived. The poison appeared black in their veins. In this case, the curse was inflicted deliberately, and this was usually what happened, but it may have also been possible for him to inflict a curse out of only anger or hate with no intent. The ability only worked on others, not on himself. It may even be that the ability granted immunity to itself, preventing others from cursing him if they possessed the same ability.
