Tyrian Erion, the only known elemental witch
Elemental witches are a crossbreed species which are half elementae and half bloodwitches.
Origin[]
Elemental witches can only occur as a result of a mixed parentage, with one parent being a bloodwitch and the other being an Elementa. It doesn't matter which parent is of which species. They are rare, but not completely unheard of, because mixed species couples are common amongst Elementae, due to their limited fertility and the offspring's poor health when mating solely amongst themselves.
Appearance[]
Elemental witches are roughly humanoid in appearance. However, they do tend to show at least one of the bloodwitch characteristics, such as the eye shape or ear shape or usual eye colouring, and they can also occasionally reflect their element in their appearance. They also possess rainbow coloured blood, like a full Elementa does.
Elemental Witch Gifts[]
All elemental witches are powerfully magical from conception, due to their bloodwitch heritage, but they can sometimes appear to be less powerful than a full bloodwitch. This isn't constant, and seems to vary like the power does with a half-human bloodwitch. In addition, they all inherit particular skill with the elements, and a connection with one element, the same element as their Elementa parent. All known elemental witches will therefore be connected to Fire. It is unknown whether or not they can Call upon this element. Their blood is still poisonous, giving them the immunity to all other poisons, toxins, infections and drugs, but unlike full Elementae they can heal, although slowly. None will possess an additional gift, being too inherently magical.
