Illusionary torture is the ability to cast illusions of physical pain upon others.

By using this ability, Youngs could make his victims feel like they were in agonising physical pain, as if they were being tortured. It is unknown if he could cause lesser pain, since he only used the ability at this potency, but it could be out of malice. He needed to be able to see the person, meaning that the ability could be evaded by using induced unnoticability or even just invisibility. The effect would be strengthened if he could touch the person, and it was consciously controllled with him. The pain was completely illusionary, and would cause no physical harm or damage at all. A person with protected senses or sensory adaptation would prove immune to this ability, as could anyone who would be able to break through normal illusions, but this was not displayed. The pain couldn't be healed or manipulated away, since it was illusionary.
Faye Maitland[]
Faye will be able to inflict illusions of physical pain upon others. She will use eye contact to do so. She will be able to control the intensity of the pain and also alter which parts of her victim's body are affected. The pain will be illusionary, not real, and she will not physically damage the body in any way. It will also prove impossible to heal or manipulate the pain away. However, it could be removed by any means which remove illusions.
