Journey Rhett Goldsmith is a minor character belonging to Pippy in World 8: Brave New World. He is the youngest son of Hanna Goldsmith, and the younger brother of Dustin Goldsmith. He is currently 4 years old and has the ability of Telepathic Communication.
Appearance[]
Journey is young, and quite short, even for his age. He's a skinny boy, and has inherited the family trait of being blonde. Journey's skin is very pale, and it contrasts with his half brother's appearance and skin tone, well. His eyes are a dark brown shade, and while he remains close to his half-brother, they have very little in common appearance-wise. He normally wears jeans, and t-shirts, never wears a jacket, unless told to.
Abilities[]
Calling out telepathically
Journey's first ability is Telepathic Communication. He can speak mentally with others. It is easier to communicate when near a person, and even easier with physical contact, but there is no maximum distance between the communicator and the other person, apart from the must both be alive and in the same time. The ability also gives him limited mind reading. He has once used this ability, accidentally, to call out telepathically to his uncle Riley to protect him against Jose Gevron.

Etymology[]
Journey is an English name meaning "A journey". It is unknown why Hanna chose this name. His maternal surname is Goldsmith, an old English surname, meaning of "gold worker" although none of his family have worked with gold for several generations.
Brief History[]
Journey was born about three years after his big brother, and is now four years old. When first introduced, he lived in a trailer park with his mother, her boyfriend and his brother. He looks up to his big brother a lot, and it was revealed that Jose beat him and his mother. After one such episode, Jose locked him in the basement to punish him for getting in his way, and Journey manifested telepathic communication and called out to his uncle, Riley Goldsmith, for help. However, after Riley arrived, Jose manifested death infliction and used it to kill him. His aunt, Naomi Goldsmith was called by Dustin, triggering her manifestation of Location Manipulation. She killed Jose Gevron in revenge.
They have since buried Riley and Hanna went into full-time therapy. While his mother, Hanna, was in therapy to help her solve her problems, Journey and Dustin lived with their aunt, Naomi, but since their mother is now better, the pair have moved in with her.
