One of their bases
The Initiative was a group of villains which existed in World 2: Reflections and which consisted of both evolved humans and non-evolved humans. They would capture evolved humans and run highly unethical experiments upon them, often involving transferral of organs and body parts to see if this would transfer the associated ability. The group was based in several locations throughout the USA, though most were in the west of the country.
History[]
The Organisation first learned of the Initiative when they started receiving reports of evolved humans being attacked and abducted in several Californian cities. The first case involved a teenage boy whose eyes had been torn out to see if this would steal his precognitive ability. As the Organisation began fighting them, the attacks changed to focus on Dani Millbrook. It was later revealed that this occurred because a precognitive member had foreseen her role in their future destruction. During one abduction, Dani manifested luminescence as a captive and used this to escape. Another involved giving her a synthetic fourth ability, poison absorption, which began making her ill as her body rejected it. Their final attack had involved targeting her younger self as a baby. This attack also affected her future self, as she had recently manifested precognitive instincts and the ability was at the time so tied to her health and emotions that sensing the threat nearly killed her. Nathan and Lowri Petrelli destroyed the Initiative permanently in order to save Dani's life.
